Groundbreaking Ceremony of the CMC Creative Space Hanoi

On June 1st, 2025, the Groundbreaking Ceremony of CMC Creative Space Hanoi project was organized formally. The event was honored by the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Former Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, leaders of central ministries, and departments, along with representatives of the Hanoi local authorities. Also in attendance were executives from research institutions, leading domestic and international technology corporations, as well as representatives of CMC Corporation and SOL E&C.

The key moment of the groundbreaking ceremony

CMC Creative Space Hanoi carries a total investment of USD 300 million (approximately VND 7,800 billion). The project is being developed on a site of over 11,000 square meters, comprising 23 floors and 3 basement levels, with a total gross floor area exceeding 90,000 square meters. More than just a technology office hub, CMC Creative Space Hanoi is envisioned as a fully integrated ecosystem, featuring a data center, research and development (R&D) facilities, talent training spaces, and an innovation startup support zone, where more than 5,000 technology engineers will work, research, and collaborate.

At the heart of the entire complex lies the CMC Data Center, where CMC will deploy the latest generation of IT infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence (AI). The center will deliver a comprehensive technology ecosystem covering AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data, and next-generation networks. The C.OpenAI open ecosystem, featuring 25 core technologies developed by CMC, will also be operated at this site.

The perspective of CMC Creative Space Ha Noi

Delivering the speech at the event, on behalf of the Party and State leaders as well as General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh extended his congratulations on the groundbreaking of the CMC Creative Space, a major project in the private technology sector. He emphasized that the project demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing the Party's directive on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. The Prime Minister expressed his confidence that the complex would soon come into full operation and that CMC would continue its path of rapid and sustainable development. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reaffirmed the Government’s consistent support for the business community. He called on ministries, central agencies, and the Hanoi municipal authorities to further facilitate and support enterprises in general, including CMC Group by promptly resolving any difficulties or obstacles that may arise, thereby enabling continued business growth and progress.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of CMC, stated that the corporate aims to achieve USD 1 billion in revenue, expand its workforce to 10,000 employees, and establish a presence in 30 countries by 2028, maintaining an average annual growth rate of 20%. Among these strategic goals, CMC Creative Space (CCS) Hanoi serves as a core component of the Group’s global expansion infrastructure, as well as a hub for strategic collaborations with leading partners such as NVIDIA, Microsoft, Samsung, Google, and AWS. CMC Creative Space Hanoi is not merely a building, it is a symbol of the aspiration to serve the nation through the power of Vietnamese knowledge and technology.
