On July 3rd, 2025, global packaging leader Tetra Pak officially inaugurated Phase 2 of its green packaging factory at VSIP II-A Industrial Park, Vinh Tan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Binh Duong Province), doubling the capacity of the existing facility. In this project, SOL E&C partnered with Tetra Pak as the General Contractor for both Civil and M&E works.
June 27th, 2025, at the ESG10 Awards Ceremony, SOL E&C was awarded as the Sustainable Enterprise of 2025 – Top 10 Vietnam Green ESG Enterprises in the Construction Industry. The award is co-organized by Finance and Investment Newspaper (the official media outlet of the Ministry of Finance) and Viet Research, with the aim of honoring pioneering enterprises in sustainable development.
On the morning of June 21, 2025, in the role of Design & Build General Contractor, SOL E&C and Newtecons attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon, two international 5-star apartments and hotels. The ceremony took place in a formal and vibrant atmosphere, welcoming the participation of leaders from Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, local departments and authorities, as well as the projects’ General Contractors, Consultants, and Partners.
On the morning of June 18, 2025, SOL E&C and Newtecons successfully held the contract signing ceremony for the Design & Build General Contractor, Project Management Consultancy, and Subcontractor Packages for piling and diaphragm wall works at two international 5-star apartment and hotel complexes: Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon, located in Vung Tau City.
On the evening of June 13, 2025, the Hubexo Asia Awards (formerly known as BCI Asia Awards 2024) was held at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. This year’s ceremony honored outstanding enterprises across three key categories: Developers, Architects, and Contractors. For the second consecutive year, SOL E&C was proudly recognized in the category of Vietnam’s TOP 10 Contractors.
As one of Vietnam’s leading general contractors, SOL E&C has successfully delivered numerous projects that meet international green building standards, including LEED and EDGE certifications. Notably, the company has constructed many high-quality industrial and manufacturing facilities for FDI investors that have achieved LEED Gold certification. To attain LEED Gold status, a project must score between 60 and 79 points on the LEED score card. This requires meeting a wide range of criteria related to site selection, resource efficiency, the use of sustainable energy and materials, indoor environmental quality, and innovation in design and green initiatives.
