Five Star Odyssey is a luxury 5-star hotel and tourist apartment project, developed by the Five Star International Group. It is located on the frontage of Thuy Van Street, which is the most bustling and central area of Back Beach, within the planning project of walking street and nightlife zone.

The project has the gross building area of 200.000 square meters, featuring 50 above-ground floors, 4 basement levels, 436 hotel rooms, 1,019 high-end apartment units, 12 penthouses, and a conference center with a capacity of over 1,000 guests. Upon completion, Five Star Odyssey will stand as the tallest skycraper in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, an iconic architectural symbol of Southeast Asia. SOL E&C will accompany the Five Star International Group in the construction of the Five Star Odyssey, acting as the Design & Build General Contractor. The groundbreaking ceremony of Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon has been held on March 24th, 2024.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ba Duong, the Founding Chairman of SOL E&C and Newtecons, expressed his enthusiasm at the opportunity to collaborate with Mr. Tran Van Muoi (Chairman of Five Star International Group) on such a challenging and prestigious project in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. Five Star Odyssey presents complex construction challenges due to its proximity to the sea with significant height (50 floors), and deep basement levels (4 levels). However, with the comprehensive capabilities of our ecosystem, our professional team, and extensive experience in executing major projects, Mr. Nguyen Ba Duong pledged to collaborate closely with Client and Partners to ensure the project's objectives are met. He committed to completing the project with the highest quality, the fastest construction progress, addressing environmental concerns, ensuring labor safety, and providing the most suitable and effective construction solutions for the Clients.

Also in the Back Beach area, the project to upgrade Thuy Van street in Vung Tau city with a total investment of over 1.216 trillion VND is scheduled to commence at the end of July 2024 and be completed by May 2025. Specifically, the existing park area from Phan Chu Trinh street to the Tourist Management and Support Center covers an area of about 2 hectares; more than 17 hectares from the San Ho Xanh tourist area to Nguyen An Ninh street will be developed into a new park area along with culinary spaces, festivals, and experiential activities. With the synergy of coastal infrastructure investment in Back Beach, when officially operational, Five Star Odyssey will become an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists, thereby playing an important role in promoting the development of coastal tourism and creating value for the sustainable development of the tourism sector as well as the socio-economic development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province in particular. This contributes to the overall development of the country.
