Recently, the topping-out ceremony of LUMI Hanoi was successfully held, marking an important milestone in the project’s construction journey. The event was attended by representatives from CapitaLand Development (Vietnam), Mitsubishi Estate, the General Contractors Newtecons, Ricons, and SOL E&C, together with consulting firms INNO, DLS Consultant, and TEXO, as well as partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Alwin Low - General Director, Northern Region CapitaLand Development (Vietnam), expressed his gratitude to the main contractors, Newtecons, Ricons, and SOL E&C, along with the project management team for their tireless efforts in realizing the project’s vision. He noted that the construction process had faced several challenges, including fluctuating site conditions, harsh weather, and complex technical requirements. However, through determination and close collaboration, the project team successfully overcame these difficulties to reach today’s key milestone. Mr. Alwin Low expressed confidence that with continued unity and focus, all parties would maintain quality, progress, and deliver the project successfully.

Following his remarks, Mr. Võ Thanh Liêm – General Director of Newtecons, representing the main contractors, shared his honor to be entrusted by CapitaLand Development (Vietnam) to accompany such a prestigious project as LUMI Hanoi. He emphasized that the topping-out ceremony not only marks the completion of half the challenging journey but also reflects the dedication, strong coordination, and professionalism among the participating teams. In the next phase, the main contractors will remain focused on completing the project safely, with high quality and on schedule, reaffirming their commitment to delivering the utmost satisfaction to the Developer—both for this project and future collaborations.

Jointly developed by CapitaLand Development, Mitsubishi Estate, and Far East Organization, LUMI Hanoi is a premium residential project located in Hanoi’s western district, a master-planned area featuring parks, schools, shopping centers, healthcare facilities, and the city’s new administrative hub. Upon completion, the development will offer a modern community lifestyle—harmonizing sustainability, sophistication, and serenity, while redefining urban living standards.

The project aims to achieve EDGE certification by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, incorporating key sustainable solutions such as 4.3 hectares of green landscape, rainwater harvesting systems, eco-ponds, natural habitats, and charging stations for electric vehicles and bicycles. With a total development value exceeding SGD 1 billion (approximately VND 18 trillion), LUMI Hanoi will provide about 4,000 apartments across nine towers ranging from 29 to 35 floors, offering diverse unit types from one- to four-bedroom apartments, duplexes, and penthouses.

Project perspective
Working alongside CapitaLand Development (Vietnam), the main contractors Newtecons, Ricons, and SOL E&C are responsible for structural works, basement and superstructure finishing, lobby and corridor interiors, MEP systems, façade installation, infrastructure, and landscaping for the entire development. After nearly a year of construction, the project has successfully reached this major milestone—another significant step forward in completing one of Hanoi’s most remarkable developments.
