On the morning of June 18, 2025, SOL E&C and Newtecons successfully held the contract signing ceremony for the Design & Build General Contractor, Project Management Consultancy, and Subcontractor Packages for piling and diaphragm wall works at two international 5-star apartment and hotel complexes: Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon, located in Vung Tau City. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Van Muoi, Chairman of Five Star Group; Mr. Nguyen Ba Duong, Founding Chairman of SOL E&C; along with the leaderships from Five Star International Group, Newtecons, SOL E&C, and Ecosystem Companies (BM Windows, BOHO, and DB), as well as representatives from Artelia Vietnam and Bachy Soletanche Vietnam.

SOL E&C Signs Design & Build Contract for the Five Star Odyssey Project

Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon are two international 5-star apartment and hotel complexes developed by Five Star Group. Both projects are located on Thuy Van Street, considered the most vibrant and premium beachfront boulevard in Vung Tau City, within the planned walking street and night-time economy zone.

The Five Star Odyssey tower will feature 50 above-ground floors and 4 basement levels, while Five Star Poseidon will comprise twin towers with 43 above-ground floors and 3 basement levels. These landmark developments are set to become world-class resort complexes, creating a significant boost for tourism and economic growth in Vung Tau City. Moreover, these projects are expected to attract additional investment to the region and deliver long-term value to the local community. Notably, upon completion, Five Star Odyssey will become the tallest landmark in Vung Tau City, and a symbolic icon of Southeast Asia’s architectural landscape.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Trần Văn Mười, Chairman of Five Star Group, expressed his pleasure in partnering with Newtecons, SOL E&C, and other ecosystem companies to develop these two world-class projects that will contribute to the tourism and economic growth of the Vung Tau Coastal City. He shared that the parties had worked closely together during the design phase to arrive at the most optimal solution for the project. He also expressed his hope that all parties would continue to uphold the spirit of open collaboration in order to successfully deliver the project to completion.
