[October 3rd, 2025], SOL E&C, in collaboration with the Client Advanced Materials Zili Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Zili Holdings), successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony for the “40,000-ton/year Sintered Corundum Factory” (hereafter referred to as Zili Vietnam Factory) at Phu My II Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Parks, Phu My II Industrial Park, IDICO, as well as representatives from the Client Zili Holdings, Zili Vietnam, General Contractor SOL E&C, consulting units, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

SOL E&C and distinguished delegates performed the groundbreaking ritual.
At the ceremony, Mr. Lê Viết Phúc, Deputy Director of the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City, congratulated the project on its groundbreaking. He highlighted that this is one of the fastest projects to commence construction since the issuance of its Investment Registration Certificate, serving as a model to attract other investors to choose Ho Chi Minh City as their destination. He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to working closely with local authorities to support the investor in regulatory compliance, resolve challenges, and ensure favorable conditions for successful project implementation and operation.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ma Zheng, Chairman of Zili Vietnam, expressed gratitude to local authorities, stakeholders, and partners for their support throughout the project’s preparation. He emphasized that establishing the Group’s first factory in Vietnam is built upon three decisive factors: “the right timing, the right location, and the right people.” He also shared the Group’s vision, business philosophy, and human resource development strategy in expanding operations in Vietnam. The Zili Vietnam Factory at Phu My II Industrial Park is only the beginning of Zili’s long-term and sustainable investment journey in the Vietnamese market.

The investment in Phu My II Industrial Park marks an important strategic step for Zili Holdings in Southeast Asia. The project comprises a single-storey main factory, an 11-storey technology tower, a 4-storey office tower, and auxiliary facilities, with a total construction floor area (CFA) of over 30,000 m². SOL E&C, as the Design & Build General Contractor, will be responsible for architectural design, reinforced concrete and steel structure works, finishing, MEP, infrastructure, and landscaping for the project.
